About Me!

Heyo! I’m Don, a 16-year-old from Kenya who loves coding, art, music and Mei! You can find me in the same place everyday - hunched over my laptop for way too many hours a day.

My love for computers started when my Dad handed me down his ancient Toshiba to play games on. When games eventually started crashing the poor thing, I found myself venturing into the Internet, and my curiosity drove me to pretty much every corner of it.

I love Tails. You probably couldn’t tell - I only plastered him like 7 times on this page. Tails is my spirit animal. Tails is my alter ego. Oh, and I like the Sonic franchise. Did I mention my favorite character is Tails?

Projects!

Well... this is awkward...

I actually don't have quite as many projects as I thought I did, and most aren't really documentable. However, I do have a bunch that I preserved over time. And as I complete more Stardance missions, I'll include them here too!

Terrapulse brand identity design

Terrapulse is a fictional agri-tech startup that specializes in designing and manufacturing smart farm equipment. Their products include drones, harvesters and hydroponic systems, as well as complimentary apps to control the function of all of these devices.

The main aim with this design was to diverge from common design cliches like leaves and herbal greens, and to achieve a design language that reflected their connection to nature (through the multiple earthy tones) as well as their futuristic and tech-centered mindset (the dither tone effect and logotype)

Random art

I used to do a lot of drawing as a kid, but my interest kinda faded as school and life in general got in the way. I was luckily able to pick up the hobby again a bit later, which is this year, and I plan to do a lot of work on my art in the future. These are a just a couple of doodles to get me into the hobby again.

Artists you HAVE to try if you haven't

• Blood Cultures

Alternative Indie Rock band. One really cool thing about them is that they choose not to reveal their individual identities, because they don't want their personal worldviews and opinions to affect how you view their music. This is my favourite trait about this band (other than how cool their music is), and if I could choose, I'd want all artists to emulate this.

Songs to start with: Set It on Fire, Unarchiver, Phospholipid, Broadcasting, Scenes from a Midnight Movie

Albums to start with: LUNO, Happy Birthday, Skate Story Vol 1

• Night Tapes

Dream Pop, Shoegaze and Indie Rock, but with a lot of genre-blending. Night Tapes is my absolute favourite band of all time. I'm in love with their lyricism, and their instrumentals are all so ethereal and just pure bliss to listen to. They don't have a bad song, really!

Songs to start with: television, drifting, to be free, Fever Dream Kids, Humans

They only have one album, which is the debut, polars//polarities. You should also check out their EPs, especially assisted memories.

• Jim Legxacy

Mostly UK rap and pop, but he's incredibly diverse with his genres. Jim was one of the first artists I listened to when I started venturing into rap as a genre, and I've never looked back. Jim has a way with words, along with his beautiful vocals and incredibly versatile flows, that you simply can't find from any other artist. WAY too underrated, praying for him to go mainstream.

Songs to start with: block hug, candy reign, new david bowie, stick, dexter's phone call (check out dexterinthenewsagent too!)

Album to start with: black british music (this was my AOTY in 2025, nothing comes close ;D)
